Tell FEMA: Big changes need to come for storm survivors.

This is your chance to tell FEMA to get things back on track for New Jersey storm survivors, including Ida survivors who missed out on improvements rolled out this year.

We’ve long been fighting for changes to FEMA alongside storm survivors across the country – and in March, they finally rolled out new rules. Some highlights include: not having to apply for SBA, more funds for survivors if your insurance comes up short, emergency displacement assistance, and no more excuses about “damage that already existed.” But these new rules alone won’t fix all of the issues we’re still seeing with FEMA.

We currently have a rare opportunity where FEMA has to read every word we send them – and we want them to hear from as many of us as possible. Until July 16th, they have to accept comments from the public on these new rules that are put into the official record. Join us in sending a message to FEMA: put your money where your mouth is!
