Kristi Noem’s Disaster Report Card

In December 2025 nearly 80 disaster survivors, including members of NJOP attended a survivor delegation to Washington DC to push for full and fair disaster recovery for our families.   opens in a new windowA key focus of our delegation, and survivors organized nationwide, is on a functional FEMA that does more, and not less, for our communities.  That means getting FEMA out from under DHS and a new leader who is either a survivor or experienced emergency manager.  Please read more in our report card on Secretary Noem’s first year heading up FEMA below.
